High Crystallinity Low-defect Yttria

Quantity:

High crystallinity low-defect yttria (molecular formula: Y₂O₃), also known as high-quality yttrium oxide, is a high-performance rare earth oxide presenting as white or off-white fine powder. It is specially processed to achieve ultra-high crystallinity, minimal crystal defects, and uniform particle size distribution, combined with high purity, stable chemical properties, high melting point, and excellent thermal and optical performance. It is widely used in high-end fields such as semiconductors, thermal barrier coatings, laser crystals, transparent ceramics, and electronic ceramics, serving as a core raw material for high-tech industrial production and scientific research.

Product Advantage

In contrast to conventional yttrium oxide, highly crystalline yttrium oxide exhibits higher crystallinity and clearer grain boundaries, with minimal oxygen loss during high-temperature sintering. This effectively resolves the issue of chromatic aberration defects in ceramics caused by traditional yttrium oxide spraying.

Product Uses

Its core application lies in serving as a ceramic additive, which can stabilize ceramic crystalline phases, inhibit high-temperature phase transitions and grain coarsening, promote sintering densification and refine grains, significantly enhancing the mechanical strength and fracture toughness of ceramics. Simultaneously, it optimizes the lattice structure of Broussonetia papyrifera, reduces oxygen vacancies at Utetheisa kong sites, not only improving color deviation issues in sprayed ceramics but also blocking the inward diffusion of fluorine atoms and corrosive media, preventing cracking and peeling of the surface passivation layer. This substantially enhances the ceramic's thermal shock resistance, high-low temperature endurance, and chemical corrosion resistance.
